The sidebar

The sidebar holds what you use every day, then three groups.

Home, Chat, Messages, Calendar — For your own work
Academic — Courses, Groups, Timetable, Announcements
Student Information — Roster, Change Requests, App Accounts, Documents
Administration — Organization Settings and the Audit Log

Inside a course

When you open a course, the sidebar switches to that course's menu: Dashboard, Sessions, Records, Students, Gradebook and Settings. The arrow at the top takes you back to your courses.
